Who is this woman?
Well, besides being an engaging writer, I’m a lifelong student who’s rarely seen without a book in her hand. I attended Loyola Marymount University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in writing, a certificate in journalism, and a minor in Asian Pacific Studies. From there, I dipped my toe into B2B journalism with a company called Bobit Business Media, where I wrote about an impressive array of fleet vehicles (riveting, I know!). From limos to party buses, firetrucks, police cars, and more, it was less about the vehicles and more about getting to know the fleet managers, technicians, and office staff behind them. I’ve always been curious about how people got where they are and the wisdom they’ve accumulated along the way.
It was there that I received an education in all kinds of digital media, including blogs, newsletters, webinars, magazines, and more. I even ran a few trade show sessions!
When it was time to try something new and expand my knowledge even further, I took a leap into SaaS as the Senior Content Marketing Manager for GoGuardian, an edtech company serving K–12 schools. They needed customer stories to help educators across the U.S. understand the importance of ensuring their students could navigate the wild west of the web responsibly and safely. I also create blogs, newsletters, and much more here, but without a doubt, telling the stories of those whose working lives have been changed by our products is my favorite part of the job.
I’ve got so much more to tell you... and as you can see, storytelling is what I do best. Shoot me an email or reach out on LinkedIn, and let’s talk about how I can help your company reach those who have yet to see how incredible you are.
